The salad was iceberg lettuce with a couple pieces of veg- not appetizing at all. No biggie, because by then I'd seen the bugs and lost my appetite. Then I was told that they were actually out of the conch chowder. These were those packaged dinner rolls you get in the supermarket partially cooked and doused in oil. First of all, if you think these rolls are good, do yourself a favor and come to NJ. I ordered the conch chowder, a side salad, and the much-acclaimed garlic rolls. The "chicken florentine" my hubby ordered was a dried up mess with one sprig of something green covered in Alfredo sauce. Maybe had we gotten pizza and not sat at the table by the wall (roaches running down it) this review would be different, but alas. We witnessed a couple at a nearby table leave in disgust after never being served more than drinks. I can't remember her name but she's a petite Hispanic lady with a braid lol. She's fantastic but the only one waiting tables no matter how busy it gets. But hopefully it will improve it, so here goes: Pros: the waitress. I deliberated all week about keeping my opinions to myself- after all, I'd hate to have a negative impact on a mom and pop business. In fact, I've gone to some dives, but this one took the cake. I can't believe the ratings this place has. Convenient little shop across from the resort we stayed in last week.
